What airlines offer discounts if you need to fly for a funeral?

What airlines offer discounts when needing to fly for a funeral? Which airlines offer the greatest discounts? Are there any restrictions/requirements?

It would just be domestic flights in the US.
NO, I have been told by several people that some airlines to offer discounts. Maybe not all of them, but some.

Roger K:Bereavement fares are sometimes available. Some airlines post information about those on their websites.

Go to any travel site and put in the cities you need to fly between, and some appropriate travel dates. That way you can find out which airlines fly the route you need. Then CALL each one and ask them directly. They will know:
- IF they offer any such fare
- WHAT the rules, terms and conditions are for getting such a fare.

It will take you 2 minutes to find the airlines, and slightly longer to call a few of them and ask the questions, but you will get the real answers.

My understanding is that the discounts that you may get are off of the full fare price, and that you may actually find much better prices on travel websites for a restricted, discounted ticket.

How to convince my parents to?

Ok. I am looking at a new laptop (Apple MacBook). I currently have a Gateway 200ARC laptop, but it will be 5 years old in October, and it’s not working great (had to get new Wi-Fi card, battery is busted, extended warranty expired) and I want a MacBook. They are normally $ 1099, but Apple has an Education Discount that we can use since my Mom is on the school board. Also, I am washing cars and cutting the grass to earn money so I can pay for part of it.

My parents said that my grades play a big part in weather or not I get one. My grades are, for the most part, better on my 4th quarter report car then they were on my 3rd quarter, with the exception of computers, because I did something I taught people how to send messages in class and the teacher marked me down (parents didnt really care) and Math, which I am being tutored for this summer.

How to I convince my parents to let me get a new MacBook? I want one soon because we are taking a vacations to Michigan and Ireland soon.

♥Birdie♥:Just keep doing what your doing, maybe pick up a few extra odd jobs, like maybe offering to de-weed gardens things like that around your neighborhood. Keep your grades up and offer to maybe do more around the house? Sounds like youre on the right track. Just get as much together as you can and maybe offer to pay back the rest over time?

Will hotels match a booking site's discount price if I want to wait and pay when I arrive?

My husband and I are going on vacation in a few weeks and we found a good deal on a hotel we want to stay at on a booking website, but in order to get the discount, they require us to pay up front and it will be non-refundable. As much as we want to plan ahead for our trip, we would rather not have to pay for the hotel until we arrive there in case something happens and we are unable to go on our trip.

So, my question is, if we call the hotel directly to book it instead of going through the booking site, will they match the booking site’s discount price and let us wait until we arrive to pay?
